Witchcraft in this area - Early 1700

Postby fiona » Sun Apr 03, 2011 8:13 pm

Good Evening one and all,

This is a strange topic of conversation, but something came to light for us yesterday and as a result, I have been researching today witchcraft in this area, where a large number of people were burnt as a result of witchcraft in the early 1700's.

My results have been not very successful so far, thus I turn to all of you hoping that one of you may shred some light on this.

Also does anyone know anything about experiments being carried out on people using nerve gas at the hospital back in the 1800's?

Fiona:

Did some research on your enquiry.
Found out there were three people from Lincoln from 1618 to 1619
See link and scroll down to Lincoln http://www.free-press-release.com/news- ... 64916.html

These other folk were executed in Lincoln for witchcraft...
1619 Lincoln Witches Anne Baker, Eileen Greene, Joan Willimot and Margaret and Philippa Flower are hanged as witches at Lincoln, England, after being accused of using magic against Earl of Rutland to make wife infertile.

John.
