Wilson Alarm Houses

Postby sdcbeckett » Tue Aug 02, 2011 10:31 am

Hello to all,
I recently had my Wilson alarm serviced to discover it didn't have a battery in the control box (situated in the utility room on most houses I guess), on contacting Wilson Alarms they basicallyy said tough also stating that there was one fitted - obviously not the case as the control box had never been opened previously; I therefore had to pay for a new one!! Was wondering if anyone else had a similar story???

just checked but mine has a screw on cover and its own fuse point. don't actually know if that means it needs a battery but I guess so since the battery would be for a power cut? will get the screwdriver out later and check. thanks for posting.
