glad that there are other residents who are keeping an eye on the grandstand.

please view this and please get involved. if it was not for Mr Shipton providing information on this web site with details about the west common and the grandstand, no one would be the wiser what goes on a city council and decisions being taken. thanks john for your vigilance and contributions.

here is what is happening regarding the grandstand http://www.lincolngrandstand.com

There is a heap of ideas on here but it does not say who 'The Grandstand Project' are that are filtering and publishing them. There is no link, no council logo, nothing. Was interested that they say it is Grade II listed though it could put investors off and the builders that they would like to get in touch since the rules re. development of such places are pretty strict.

Outdoor cinema eh....

deb:

councillor helen heath is doing something about the grandstand. working with emile van der zee to find a solution. having spoken to city council, they have no plans which goes to show that they are leaving this historical building to the state what it has become. i find this disgraceful.

see this article about the future of the grandstand. glad that there are lincoln people involved. hope residents will do the same.
