Dear All,

the West Common Community picnics will remain in place - even after the first battle against a development on the West Common has been won (!).

The next picnic for all those living around the West Common is on Sunday August 29th at 1pm - please bring your own food and drinks (and a garbage bag for the left-overs ....). We will probably meet around the football pitch. When it is getting too cold in October the picnics will stop till May next year. However, in the early evening of Sunday October 17th the West Common Community group intends to organise a lantern walk for children with their parents.
