things that go bump in the night!!!

Hello again its Emma and Gary

I am so sorry to be having a moan  but am so annoyed at the moment and feel I will feel better sharing it with the lovely people of St Georges Forum :D
As we were sat watching the Apprentice (9.45pm) having a lovely evening we were disturbed by a loud bang outside our house in particular on our front door. We went to investigate to find a quite large stone outside our front door which had been thrown deliberately. As we were outside our lovely neighbour rushed out to tell us she had seen some young boys running up the street (up Manrico Drive towards the posh end). She then went on to tell us that several of the houses behind her house had suffered similar problems with the young kids climbing into gardens at night. Please do not get me wrong children should be able to play out but not at the expense of neighbours and maybe not this late, has anyone else seen or heard anything as I am quite worried.

Many thanks

Emma, spoke to a couple of the older lads at the weekend to put the word around about the trouble. A couple of names regularly crop up but bless 'em they are loyal to their mates and see it as them 'sometimes losing it' rather than malicious behaviour. I'm told that one resident has given permission to climb fences so don't know if it's always the same garden that they're seen in. There is a reluctance to knock on some doors with a preference for sneaky behaviour becuase they are not well received even on a first ever knock which is unfortunate. I was told that when they tried the Common that the older boys over there just bullied them and took their ball and I think in those situatiuons they'd rather be closer to home. The stone incident wasn't known about though which makes me wonder if it wasn't deliberately aimed at a house but, rather more worryingly, at each other. I did mention that one stone in the wrong place could knock someone out especially if some of their mates are prone to 'losing it'.
