The Green on Manrio

Does anyone know if this is going to be returned to its previous state, or do we need to settle for the mud and uneven ground? Not idea for kids playing football and dog walking?

Hi Deb,

I see that we are still awaiting someone to come and level this area and re-turf. I can not believe that the contracts were allowed to leave the site in such an awful state. Maybe the powers that be should have withheld the payment until the contractors put the green back to the state before they destroyed it.

once april has passed they generally won't touch it until September - planting season. It won't be returned as it was , it will be better because when it is done it'll be to landscape it. I have it diaried to chase at the start of September.
D'you know what I also fancy doing and as yet have no clue if it would even be allowed. Lampost baskets. Council say yes. Ward Budget say yes (for planters and plants). Residents happy to adopt one (to water it) will have one on their nearest lampost. How lovely could that look!
