British Summertime ends at the end of October. Here are some tips for staying safe and crime free:
·When out and about where high visibility clothing.
·Stay in well-lit areas and be aware of what is happening around you.
·Use timer switches to turn lights on in your home to make it look occupied in early evenings.
·Park you vehicles in well-lit areas and remove all valuables when leaving your vehicle.

Trick or Treat
·If you see a card in a window asking for no callers - respect it.
·Throwing eggs and flour is not funny and you could end up in trouble.
·Only call at houses of people you know.

Bonfire Night
·Fireworks can be dangerous.
·They can frighten or hurt people and animals.
·It is safer to go to an organised display

It is against the law:
·For anyone under 18 to buy or have adult fireworks.
·To throw or set off fireworks in the street.
·To let off fireworks after 11pm and before 7am with the exception of the following nights:
Bonfire Night - Curfew will begin at midnight.
Diwali Day - Curfew will begin at 1am the following day.
New Years Eve - Curfew will begin at 1am the following day.
