I'd sign up tomorrow if you could opt for Sport ONLY and their contact number started 0800.

In fact all the reports state that BT Vision is a good alternative if you already have BT Broadband.

I thought I would sign up for that, put all my details in, the message came up, 'Good News, It's available in your area' Now enter your Postcode which I excitedly did, only to be told that I am too far from the Telephone Exchange!!

Sky is a rip off! I have BT vision and it's great. Just like sky plus but you don't pay a fortune. There are a few less channels but it's free if you have broadband. If you want sky sports for the football it's not even worth it anymore because of Sentanta taking half of the matches!

Steve, try again, you only need 2Mbps for 'Vision' and we get way over that round here. If online says 'no', I know it could be that usual 'press button xyz' but it's probably worth talking to a 'person'.

Re BT Vision, I've had the service for over a year and have had no problems. Still can't get the Lincolnshire & Humberside BBC channel though, so no Look North !
