SAS Fire and security/Crime Research UK

A number of calls have been received in Lincolnshire regarding the above company.

SAS Fire and Security also own Crime Research UK who cold call to arrange visits for SAS. They state they can install alarms for £1 and that these are approved by police/government/local authority. Whilst alarm installation fee is minimal maintenance costs are high and there is a cancellation fee. They give the impression to residents that they are authorised by police to call…THEY ARE NOT! If you are contacted by the above company please:

Call the police

Do not pass any details to the company and do not let anyone enter your home if you are visited.

Also Report any incidents relating to ‘cold call’ telephone calls by Crime Research UK to Consumer Direct on 08454 04 05 06.
