Road Adoption

Postby JT » Sun May 10, 2009 7:33 pm

Here is a copy of an email I've just received in response to a query about when oour roads will be adopted. It was a follow-up to a letter I wrote six months ago when i was told that it would be in about six months' time:

Dear John

The road has not been adopted yet. When the road is ready for adoption notices will be posted around the site to inform residence of the pending adoption. Any person wishing to object to the adoption is given one month from the date the notice is first displayed. If no objections are received within the timescale the adoption will go ahead.

If you require any further information, please do not hesitate to contact me.

kind Regards

Aine

John:

Can you give details where the letter came from ie David Wilson Homes, Highways, etc, please.
I will be contacting Permissons later on during the day if no response to my message left on their answering machine last Friday about them completing the roads and footpaths which they are responsible for.

Shippo.

Hi John
It was an oversight not to have said that it came from the Lincoln County Council.
