This is for yourselves as the meeting will be important and controversial.
The media, tv and radio, and local newspapers are sending reporters to this meeting
The City of Lincoln Council has had to book a different venue for the Commons Advisory Committee meeting on Monday, 26th July, beginning at 6.00pm.
Due to the public interest in the case of horse racing proposed for the West Common, City Hall is using the premises of New Life Church on Newland, Lincoln.
Their reasons for this is because they had to turn away, for health and safety reasons, scores of people when committee rooms 1, 2, and 3 were full to capacity at the meeting of the 14th July.
The CAP have been requested to ask their members which they serve using the West Common, for a recommendation to the Executive about horse racing for the West Common. The panel members and serving councillors of the CAP will discuss the matter what the Lincoln Racecourse Regeneration Company presented at the recent special meeting held at City Hall, and to make their decision. Their proposals turned out to be intentions and nothing concrete was given. Please note that it took them three or five years to publish their document depending what Karl McCartney said at his meetings of last year (5 years) and what the LRRC said (3 years).
The meeting is open to the public to attend. The same conditions apply as of the 14th July.
