It astounds me how folk who walk their dogs down the lane next to Albion cresent, still do not clean up their dog's poop.

I use this path most days and theres loads there today, not only on the path but all over the small grassy bit and it stinks!!

My 3 yr old son enjoys going down this lane on his scooter to collect dandelions for his rabbit.........Ive had to stop him now due to these lazy, ignorant, selfish dog owners who think they can break the law.

These selfish people are breaking the law, they need photographing and reporting.

In fact if there wasn't such a bye-law I don't think they would stand there at let their dogs sh*t everywhere.

Selfish, irresponsible people enjoy breaking these laws just like motorists who STILL use mobile phones whilst driving.

In the last week alone I have witnessed several drivers in and around the community using mobile phones, one man the other morning driving out the estate shaving and one woman along Long Leys Road applying make - up.
I couldn't believe she was doing that with both hands off the steering wheel.

I would suggest that if you have evidence of the dog owners concerned or anyone else who see dog owners allowing their dogs to pooh on republic places and footpaths, etc, without picking up the mess, contact the Dog Warden at City Hall on 01522 873729.
The Dog Warden will send a letter direct to the dog owner's address warning about dog fouling, and if persistent ,the dog owner will be prosecuted.
The Dog Warden will need the name and addresses of the dog ownerss concerned.
This will be treated in confidence between the person/s reporting and Lincoln City Council.

Seven piles of poo today that i didnt see yesterday..........I found myself having to watch where i walked, hence the counting.....

As for the mobile phone business, i totally agree with you.......it could be completely avoided if you do as i do...either walk or use a motorbike........(although i have seen the odd stupid moped rider sat at trafic lights trying to have a conversation through their helmet )
