Hospital - smoking and parking

Two issues that the hospital have received complaints about and they are keen to keep relations good between us their neighbours so they have proactively contacted me:

Smoking: Hospital have received complaints about staff smoking, one chap feeling the need to say that the women looked as if they were touting for business. This is completely out of order, personal attacks are totally unecessary. The hospital and grounds are no smoking areas so anyone using the facilities has to smoke beyond the walls. They do not leave tab ends, do not block the path and are certainly not as rude as that resident. I'm not sure exactly what the hospital is expected to do given that they are not breaking any laws or bylaws but if you have a suggestion I can pass it on.

Parking: The hospital have requested again that patients, visitors and staff DO NOT park on Carram or any other residential street. They appreciate how very annoying this is that you can return home and not be able to unload your kids/shopping outside your own house and that road users are taking daily risks coming around the bends (the training landrover being so tall next to the bend could help here!). I have suggested that on top of their notices that reception ask if people have driven to the hospital and if so where have they parked. We are all reliant on people's respect and goodwill here as again, like the smoking, no laws or bylaws are being broken (except those very close to the bends obviously) Please feel free to call in at reception if you see anyone not following the request or let me know and I'll pass number plates/descriptions on.
