hands off our common campaign

may i suggest that residents read this what private enterprise is likely to do with our west common.

LRRC is only a temporary company. The West Common is there for many generations to come ....

A new company (NEWCO Ltd) has been planned to take over once LRRC has done the ground work. NEWCO Ltd is intended to 'develop' the West Common, based on LRRC's business plans, without having to give the same answers to concerns that LRRC has to answer (for).

Karl McCartney, our local MP, has been lobying for a racecourse on the West Common since at least since 2004.

The real question is: do you trust Karl McCartney, LRRC, or NEWCO Ltd, to develop things for you? To be the guardian of a unique piece of land, to do a wonderful job in terms of economical development (without a business plan and any ideas about the local situation), and to make sure that the interests of the local population and of the local wildlife are taken into account?

this has been taken from www.handsoffourcommon.co.uk web site

well worth reading. glad that there are lincoln folk who are putting words into action.

It has become noticeable that neither the Lincoln Racecourse Regeneration Company and the its director who is the MP for Lincoln, are not responding to the many questions being raised or asked about using the West Common for professional horse racing. Their silence is not golden!
This article was published in the local media today. Worth looking at:-
