GRANDSTAND MEETING & FLYER DISTRIBUTION

HANDSOFFOURCOMMON - Public Meeting - Lincoln Grandstand - Tuesday 12th Oct 2010 at 7.00pm.
The Lincoln Racecourse Regeneration Company Ltd has vowed to come back with new plans for a racecourse on the West Common within the next two years. HANDSOFFOURCOMMON are against any large scale development on the West Common. Ideas will be presented that have come forward in the past few months about what to do with the Grandstand, and what kinds of activities people would like to see on the West Common. People can join in to discuss these ideas and bring their own ideas to the meeting.

CALL FOR HELP! - LEAFLET DISTRIBUTORS URGENTLY REQUIRED.

To inform local residents about the meeting, the 'Handsoffourcommon' campaign are having 3,000 flyers printed.
These need to be distributed in the West End - Long Leys - St Georges areas of Lincoln.

The flyers will arrive from the printers on Wednesday 6th - Thursday 7th Oct and need to be delivered ideally by the end of this weekend
(latest Monday 11th Oct) as meeting is on Tuesday.

received a call from bbc lincolnshire but was out. tonight's meeting was discuused on the breakfast show this morning. tv, radio, and the press appear to be going. because of major interest throughout lincoln i am going too. hope that residents on the long leys road area will be going as well.
should be a good meeting after talking to others about what to do with the grandstand. received a flyer about it sunday morning.
