CLASSIC CAR RUN 2008
This must be a must for the classic car enthusiasts and for anyone who likes to photograph them. So do come along on Sunday, 18th May, and be prepared, for the Metheringham Airfield Visitor Centre will be accommodating a Classic Car run starting from Brigg Market Place.
Classic cars are expected to arrive for a pit stop and owners having their lunch break at the Visitor Centre.
It is expected that over 100 cars will be arriving there and parked for the public to view and see before departing elswehere on the Border Classic Car Run ' 08.
Such cars taking part will be ones built between 1920 and 1985 and modern classics between 1985 and 1995. Cars will gather first on the Sunday from 8.00am and leave Brigg Market Place beginning 10.00am at one minute intervals.
Those taking part will be MGs, Austin Healeys, Jaguars, Rolls- Royce and Triumphs not to mention a host of other makes.
