Thanks to the City of Lincoln Council’s partnership with Cory Environmental, any Lincoln residents wishing to have their tree collected and recycled for compost can do so free of charge during January.

Residents with green bins can dispose of their trees through their regular garden waste collection service from the week commencing Monday 3rd January. Residents should put their trees in their green bin and present them as normal on the usual collection day, but they must ensure that the tree fits comfortably into the bin.

Alternatively, trees will be collected for all residents on theirnormal black bin collection days during the weeks commencing 10th and 17th January. Trees must be presented at the kerbside by 7am to guarantee collection. Trees presented after this time may not be collected."
