I am looking for someone reliable and trustworthy to come and work as a part time childminding Assistant. I thought I would see if anyone on the estate is looking for a part time work before I go to the job centre.

The job is for 16 hours per week (normally from 8am to 10am each day and a few hours in the afternoon 2 days a week). The role is to cover busy periods such as meal times and school runs. The rota is made up 4 weeks in advance for afternoon shifts.

The role is to assist with minding children between 8 month and 8 years.

The role is self employed - so the individual will need to register as self employed and be responsible for own tax and national insurance (if applicable with such few hours).

The rate is £6.50 per hour.

The individual would need to be prepared to assist with childcare, food serving, and cleaning up (dishes / mop floors / put toys away etc) and other jobs as they arrive. I want someone with some childcare experience (this may be parenting) and who can provide references.

The individual will need to be CRB checked and attend a paediatric child care course (2 day course). I will fund the cost of the actual course and arrange CRB check.

There will be a trial period of 1 month.
