Supporters of http://www.handsoffourcommon.co.uk are celebrating the news about West Common, announced in the Echo on 13.8.10. If the weather is fine, there will be a public picnic on West Common on Sunday 15th August at 3pm. EVERYONE is welcome (it doesn't matter whether or not you were involved in the campaign, you just need to appreciate the common!). Please bring your own picnics and rugs, chairs, kites, frisbees, games and musical instruments.

To facilitate local communication of ideas for future community activities, please add your email address to the handsoffourcommon mailing list in the first instance. Plans are being considered for some kind of community activity forum.
