By tomorrow (31st October), every household in the Carholme Ward would have received a letter from Martin Hollingsworth who is one of Lincolnshire County Council's senior Highways Officer.
The letter is self explanatory.
On the other side of this letter are proposed schemes for the ward.
Residents are requested to chose three (3) important schemes out of eleven (11).
If you look closely there are three important items for Long Leys Road plus another item for Whittons Park.
With the envelope which the letter was in, is a questionaire to be completed. That too is self explanatory.
The questionaire must be completed and returned to Lincolnshire County Council by 23rd November 2007.
I would suggest that residents complete this as there is a lot of money involved regarding the available CTZ grant.
So please inform and encourage your neighbours and friends living in the Long Leys Road area, to complete it and send it back.
It will be a few more years before this grant is available again, if ever, as money/grants could become scarce due to cut backs in public expenditure.
