As we Speak I am printing the 400 leaflets needed to be delivered across the Estate. Sorry about the delay in doing so, took my eye of the ball slighty as other fish to fry.

Any Volutneers to assist me in delivery of the leaflets??? I need to get them out Sunday and Monday. Really.

Thanks Fiona - 520811

Sorry forgot to say Tony and Carol who live on Vigo Close and have a lot to do with Bakers Field (the field that adjoins the estate on the left hand side looking from Longley’s Road) have kindly offered the use of the field and access via their Gate on their Drive at the end of Vigo Close. Tony and Carol are also offering Pony Rides as well as Electric to supply some music, so a huge Thank You to them.

Sunday 19th July
1 - 4pm
Bakers Field (access via Vigo Close)

Invites have gone to St Georges residents though I am sure no one will mind if wider community turn up - as long as they bring food, drink and plate/utensils/cup!

Well that went well! 40-45 people. Ipm and the brollies were up covering the food, shortly after they were up again covering a variety of chocolate goodies that were melting in the sun, 4.30 the rain closed a lovely event. Tony and Carol made for a wonderful time, Tony's trailer a perfect rustic table, some good music, kids playing football, pony rides and then most popular a quick lesson and adults taking themselves off on a drive round the field on Tony's 1950s tractor! There was all sorts of food from hot paella down to fresh chunks of bread and plenty of puds and drink too and if you are reading this and made the brownies can you PM me the recipe (I took one home too!). Fiona and Cliff manned the barbecue and all in all it was a great way to spend an afternoon. Thanks to everyone that turned up and helped make for a good time and to Fi for suggesting it in the first place.
