Planning permission has been granted provisionally by Lincoln City Council for housing on the e2v site, off Carholme Road.
City Hall is currently looking at the problem of traffic, entrances to the new housing estate and the connections to the water and sewage systems.
An section 106 agreement is yet to be finalised if planning permission is granted.
The course of action would be local councillors finding out where this 106 money will be spent on and where.
The LLRA can try and influence the decision by asking that some or the full amount be spent on our Urban Village which is long overdue.
This e2v site, if housing is granted, will not have any facilities like was promised for our Urban Village. So we do have a chance at least to get some of this 106 money.
If not, why not, would have to be answered by those responsible at City Hall if this money is spent elswhere!
