As well as having a hung parliament we also have a hung council.
The Labour and Tories have 16 seats each and our local councillor, Helen Heath for the Lib Dems, holds the balance of power. Should we make her queen of City Hall?

what I don't like is that everything is assumed political and that all same party will vote alike. I know it doesn't always happen and long may that continue. We live in a democracy and yet Cameron needs to side with someone to get a majority. How can another party vote the same, all the time, and not be called Tory? They should all refuse, Cameron should run with a minority and since there are only so many choices anyway, some will always vote with him anyway!
Still, it won't last.
