Can someone please inform me if mercer drive has been adopted by the county council. we have been onto them yet again re salt bins.They say we cannot have them until the roads have been adopted,i thought mercer drive had been i might be wrong.

no not adopted yet. As mentioned under grit station post we were offered one before to be sited by the shop but there was no take up possibly because people had forgotten what snow and ice was. The majority of the problems seem to be the brick humps starting around Maidment and for that reason, and also because it is central to the estate, will be pursuing provision again but on the Manrico Green rather than next to the shop. I noticed though that some kind person had gritted part of Manrico, so thank you to whoever that was.
