I know there are hordes of IKEA shoppers out there - don't you recognise at least on thing in most people's homes?! Anyway, there are strong rumours that this Saturday 19 April, Ikea will have a one day 21% off everything sale to celebrate its 21st birthday. Ikea sales are very rare and a store-wide one would be exceptional. The rumour is coming from store staff. Saturday's normal opening time is 9am -11pm but rumour is that it'll open from 6am. Seems press releases may be kept quiet until Friday. If you want to check from then:

The 21% discount will be offered at all 17 IKEA stores across the UK on Saturday 19th April, from 6am until midnight. The following terms and conditions apply:

- The offer will not apply to IKEA Services (home delivery, kitchen installation-service, home assembly service, measuring service and gift cards etc), Restaurant or Bistro Food and alcoholic drinks

- The offer is available in-store and will not apply to on-line purchases

- Returned articles purchased under the offer will be refunded at the purchase price paid on production of a valid receipt

- Doors close at 11.55pm

- Customers who are unable to complete their kitchen purchase on Saturday April 19th will be issued with a 21% discount coupon to allow the option of completing the purchase at a later date. Coupons will only be issued on Saturday April 19th and must be redeemed between Sunday April 20th and Sunday May 4th to complete their transaction
