Where have all the previous votes gone?

Been buried!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Furthermore the way that question is asked you have to think twice before responding.

I can't believe that anyone would WANT a cemetery. If they do then...is the reasoning really if you had to have the land used would you go for a cemetery or housing? I think the previous vote had only about ten responses.

There are three (3) actual choices if the land remains with Lincoln City Council which are...

(1) the land remains as it is for rental and that is for horse riding and grazing.
(2) the land to be used for a buriel ground that is a cemetery.
or (3) the land sold off for housing development in line with government policy and the dictates from New Labour guidelines for local authorities to use and find land that they own for this purpose.
Lincoln City Council have been looking at Baker's Field for sometime and they appear to be going for option (2), the land to be used as a cemetery.
This is what officers at Lincoln City Council who are involved are recommending, hence the consultation meeting arranged at the nearby Grandstand. There is no alternative venue as there is no community facilities left to use on Long Leys Road. The SEC which was used previously for consultation meetings is no longer available.
So if residents are that concerned or bothered about the Long Leys Road area, I would suggest that they find time to attend this important meeting and make their comments and views known to those responsible at Lincoln City Council. For if residents are apathetic in nature, what is being sown they will reap later!
