Important meeting at City Hall... please read.

The Lincoln Commons Advisory Committee received their agenda for discussion today.
Their next meeting is for Wednseday, 26th September, starting 6.00pm to be held in Committee Rooms 2 & 3 at City Hall.
For the first time ever, the public can attend together with the media but are not allowed to take part in the discussion during the meeting. However, they can talk to comittee members after the meeting is closed by the chairman.

Sunday delivery of the questionaire...

Residents from our small estate received the Lincoln City Council's questionaire which was inside their 16 page newspaper.
Royal Mail did not deliver it (they don't deliver mail on Sundays) but it appears that it was posted through every letter box by someone/persons on foot.
It is exactly the same supplement that was with the Lincolnshire Echo last Monday.
There was a franked envelope with it for its return.

Official Update on Completion of St. Georges

The following has been received today from Cllr Gratrick (a Conservative cllr not in our Ward but extremely helpful and lives locally). It is from Dave Underwood, another one of the good guys from the council. The meeting it refers to was with Gary and you'll note that Dave does not believe that promises made by Persimmons can actually be carried out as fast as they said - but they will be carried out!

Residents throughout the city of Lincoln are being made aware that Lincoln City Council want to change the fortnightly rubbish collection to weekly. The cost is in the region of half a million pounds.
