Please be aware that there have been numerous burglaries in Lincoln where entry has been gained via an open window, one of these was an upstairs window where a ladder that had been left on view in the rear garden was used to reach the window. Please secure your doors and windows when leaving your property, even for a short while, Also remove any items accesable that could be used to assist entry.

Landscaping: City Council has met with Wilson's to go over what is needed to meet requirements. The time frame to complete is by end of March 2012. City Council will be checking in April that all has been completed satisfactorily before it is signed off to 'maintenance' i.e. 12 months still in the developer's hands until adoption. Apologies to all around Mercer Drive last week for our house alarm going off intermittently, we were away on holiday; these things always happen like that!! The reason was the 'tamper' sensors inside the boxes that sit in the corners of the ceilings, the boxes were slightly (you have to look very closely to spot it) damaged while the walls were wallpapered by decorators months ago; vibrations must have dislodged the covers so the system ...

Local residents who use Mitchell Drive to get onto the West Common smelt a sewage smell at the bottom of the road last week. They rang Anglian Water about the matter.
This is what the utility company said...
Anglian Water is not responsible for the main sewage pipe and excess water drainage for what was called Westleys Croft. They are neither responsible for the Pumping Station sited at the end of Mitchell Drive.

Anyone know what company supplied the kitchen cabinets for the houses on Westleys Croft houses completed in about late 2001 - early 2002? Going to replace all the doors etc just leaving the original carcasses.

Over the night of 2/9 there were a few incidents of bike thefts throughout the Carholme beat, where bikes were taken from unlocked sheds, these include 2x Apollo grey/silver/white bikes and a Black mongoose mans mountain bike, please secure all pedal cycles with an adequate lock and if they are kept inside an out building or shed please make sure that it is locked.
