Like father, like son, the Chatterton family has an interest in the famous Lancaster bomber of World War Two. This aeroplane flew from many airfields throughtout the British Isles and is especially associated with Lincolnshire known throughout the world as Bomber County.

Mike Chatterton is a Flight Lieutenant in the Royal Air Force and is curently based at RAF Waddington flying the Nimrod R1 with 51 Squadron.

I have had a brief reply from Persimmon about the roads, footpaths & drains. They have completed their inspection of the roads & footpaths, but have still to do the CCTV check on the drains. Once this has been done, they can invite their contractors to tender for the work. This should take place within a couple of weeks.

Unfortunately, due to an unavoidable family problem I have a ticket going spare for the Show (either day though the forecast is best for Thursday!). The Showground, despite trying to appeal to their best nature (hospitalisation is 'not their fault' nor it seems a good enough excuse), will not grant a refund.
