Both Karl McCartney and the Lincoln Racecourse Regeneration Company are determine to have their own way in their use of the West Common.

This should be a wake up call what they are doing and upto. Their intentions make interesting reading. Please view what he said this week and comments made by Lincoln people.

Community Cycle Thursday 5-8-10 1pm-1.30pm

A slow community bike ride between Rosebery Avenue gates and Longleys Road gates by those who value the common and wish to keep it as it a community space.
This activity is time limited so that pedestrians and horses are not disturbed.

Activities for children in Lincoln?

My sister in law's friends have moved to Lincoln from London with their children age 4 and 6. She has asked me what there is for families with young children in Lincoln, but i am out of date with this age group. I said I'd ask around as they do not know anyone yet and are unlikey to meet other families before school term starts Any suggestions welcome please.

PICNIC on the COMMON Sunday 8th August

80 people turned up for the West Common Picnic on Sunday 25th July following 3 days publicity. Most people heard about it via www.handsoffourcommon.co.uk The next picnic on the Common is Sunday 8th August 1pm at Rosebery Avenue gates.
