There have been burglaries on West Parade and Carholme Road with forced entries - not just doors and windows left unlocked or ajar. If you see anything/anyone suspicious make a note of it and call the police on 882222 with the detail.

I saw two scruffy herberts yesterday afternoon dressed in yellow coats and carrying hard hats having a good look around the former SEC Centre.

Just to inform anybody who put charity bags out for Age Uk this morning, most of them were taken by another white van 2 hours early. The Age uk driver thought that they had been stolen as he had got hardly any. This has happened before and he said that there were foreigners stealing them before they (the charity drivers)could collect them. I know for a fact our bag was stolen.
